2 oz cooked leftover chicken
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic glove, minced
1/3 cup Korean Gochujang Sauté & Marinade
4 slices of crusty bread
1 1/2 cups gruyere or swiss cheese, shredded
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
- In medium bowl, combine chicken, red onion, garlic and Korean Gochujang until mixed well.
- Place 2 bread slices on work surface. Top with chicken mixture; sprinkle with shredded cheese, top with remaining bread slices.
- In large non-stick skillet, over medium heat, add oil and butter until butter is melted. Carefully place sandwiches in skillet. Cook until bread is golden, about 3 to 5 minutes per side, turning once. During last 2 minutes, cover skillet to melt cheese.
- Cut sandwiches in half and serve.
