4 slices of bacon, diced
1 lb brussels sprouts, cut in half
1/2 cup Chinese Fermented Black Bean Sauté & Marinade
Salt & pepper
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Place diced bacon in cast iron (or other oven-safe) skillet and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Set aside on paper towels to drain.
- Reserve 1 tbsp bacon drippings (discard remaining drippings).
- Heat reserved bacon drippings in same skillet over medium heat, cook brussels sprouts for 3 minutes to coat well. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place skillet in oven for 5 minutes. Halfway through mix in the diced bacon and Black Bean and place back in the oven for 5 more minutes. Serve and enjoy.
