1 16 oz can garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas), drained and rinsed
1/3 cup Chinese Fermented Black Bean Sauté & Marinade
1/2 cup red peppers, finely diced
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
4 whole grain rolls, split
1 ripe avocado, sliced
- In a food processor, pulse beans until roughly chopped. Place in large bowl.
- Stir in Black Bean, red pepper, breadcrumbs and parsley and mix well.
- Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat, cook veggie patties about 3 mins on each side until golden brown, carefully turning once.
- To serve, place patty on bottom half of the bun, top with sliced avocado and top bun. Pro move: Slather a little more Black Bean on the patty for another layer of flavor.
